FROM FARM BUREAU FINANCIAL SERVICES:

Farm Bureau Financial Services has been in business for over 70 years. We offer products to insure your auto, home, business, health, long term care, life insurance and investments. No matter what the economic conditions, our promise is to help you protect what's important and to make insurance simple.

I have been with Farm Bureau for 17 years, 11 years as a administrative assistant and 6 years as an agent. I have had extensive training and received designations in the field of life and investment products. My office for Farm Bureau Financial Services is located at 690 E. Main St. A, upstairs in the Key Bank Building in Price. My staff includes Cheryl Wilcox, who is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance; and Jeanette Strong who is the administrative assistant. We have a beautiful, friendly office and would love to have you come visit us and get a free insurance quote. You can trust us to be there for you, your family or business for the long term.

FROM CUSTOM FIT TRAINING PROGRAM:

This past year Custom Fit served over 150 companies in the area with great training at a 60% reduced cost. As business owners/managers you can use our services for training yourself and your employees using local available training or you can locate training out of the area that will fit your company’s specific needs. After you decide which training is of most benefit to you, call Bill Vande Sluis at 435-613-5460 in Carbon, Emery, and Grand Counties or Kim Palmer at 435-678-3437 in San Juan County to arrange a training agreement. After you complete the training all we need from you is a certificate of completion, proof of payment, and a synopsis of the training received. When we get this information you will receive a reimbursement of 60% of up to $1000 of the training costs.

Funds are allocated on a first come first served basis. Custom Fit funds have been used in the past for a great variety of training: from permanent eye makeup training, CAD drafting, Welding, Automotive, Professional Writers seminars, Computer classes, Miner certifications, Quilting seminars, etc. If your company needs training of any kind, please call, Custom Fit can help pay for it. This program is available to FOR-PROFIT companies only. This program has been a partnership with business for many years. It makes world-class training available to you today at very affordable rates.

Please call if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Bill Vande Sluis, Custom Fit Training Director.

FROM CEU CONTINUTING EDUCATION DEPT.:

The Division of Continuing Education at the College of Eastern Utah cooperates with various organizations and agencies within the community in making educational opportunities available to people in the College’s service area. It acts as a link to the community by providing personal enrichment and skill learning programs. These are programs set up in response to community requests and designed to meet the needs of citizens who wish to make learning a continuous part of their lives.

Generally these community courses do not lead to specific degrees but rather emphasize learning new or additional skills. Courses are offered in non-traditional time frames through Evening School, Summer School, workshops, seminars, off-campus programs, or special short courses with or without credit. They emphasize “hands on” training and can be repeated as many times as the individual wishes or needs.

Continuing Education will attempt to offer any desirable course that is requested providing resources are available and a qualified instructor can be located. CEU Continuing Education enjoys partnering with community members. It is through this partnership that skilled and talented individuals enjoy the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with others throughout the area.

For more information on our learning opportunities contact Viki Bowman at (435) 613-5664.
